Awards

In 1996 we introduced the TFBA Annual Building Awards – an event which recognises our builders’ craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each year builders win either a Gold, Silver or Bronze Certificate to commemorate their outstanding workmanship on a particular project.

Because the TFBA views the relationship between builders and designers and architects as a partnership, the designer of the winning project, who may not necessarily be a TFBA member, wins a parallel award.

These are the categories to be entered into :

Category 1 : Structures larger than 120m²
Category 2 : Structures smaller than 120m²
Category 3 : Alterations & Additions
Category 4 : Decks, Boardwalks, Gazebos, etc

From now on, starting with the 2008 Awards entries which will be judged in March 2009, we have introduced a new category, and enhanced Category 1, as follows :

Category 1 : Structures larger than 120m²
                     Structures larger than 220m²
Category 5 : Commercial Buildings
